Rules Relating To Progress From 1st Round




 
Rules Relating To Progress From Knock-Out Rounds

The criteria for progress from the knock-out round matches are as follows:-

a) If at the end of normal time the scores are level, extra time consisting of two periods of 15 minutes each shall be played.

b) There shall be an interval of 5 minutes between the end of normal time and the start of extra time, but there shall be no interval between the two periods of extra time

c) Should one team score a goal in extra time ("Golden Goal"), the match shall immediatelly end and the team that scored the "Golden Goal" shall be declared the winners

d) If no goals are scored in extra time, penalty kicks shall be taken to determine the winner in accordance with the standard procedure laid down by FIFA
