Reserve Division One
In a close match at Canning Town the hosts beat Epping 4 – 3. Shaun Garwood, Gary Jopling and Grant Osborn scored for Epping and Sean Mooney, Sean Didus, Gordon Midford and Gary Shepherd got the Town goals.
Simon Stone scored twice and Joe Dear once as Harold Wood Athletic won 3 – 0 at home to Frenford Senior.
Champions Kelvedon Hatch started the season off with a 2 – 1 home win against Bishops Stortford Swifts. Robert Robinson scored for Swifts while Darren Hickson and Danny Demetriou scored for Hatch.
Alex Witham and Tom Nash got one each as Rayleigh Town won 2 – 0 at home to newly promoted Buckhurst Hill.
Reserve Division Two
Newly promoted Lakeside travelled to Herongate Athletic where goals from Connor Reader with two, Oliver Hadley, Dean McGuire and an own goal gave the visitors an impressive 5 – 0 victory.
In a tight match at Springfield visitors Upminster ran out 4 – 3 winners thanks to two goals from James Lakey and goals from Francis Dean and Lewis Ellwood. Dave Peck scored two and Joe Hayman one for Springfield.
Colin Nuding and Lee Broadhurst scored the goals that gave Runwell Hospital a 2 – 1 win over visitors Hutton whose goal came from Chris Pryor.
Ramsden took a point from their visit to Mountnessing as the score finished 2 – 2. Josh Sole and Lee Smith scored for Mountnessing with Steve Cordell and Tommy Wright getting the Ramsden goals
Reserve Division Three
Castle United started their first season with a 4 – 1 win at home to Leigh Ramblers. John Lynn scored three and Aaron Wallace one for Castle and a Jody Foakes penalty gave Leigh Ramblers a consolation goal.
Debden Sports hosted Shenfield A.F.C. and a Paul Twentyman goal for the visitors was not enough as goals from Martin Lowe and Tommy Gunning gave Debden a 2 – 1 win.
