Results and Reports
It does not bode well for the rest of the season when two matches have already been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch
Herongate Athletic made it three wins out of three when they won 1 - 0 at Broomfield. Also in Senior Two Waltham Abbey Reserves started life in our league with a 6 - 2 win at home to Roydon.

Maldon St. Marys
Due to the pitch being marked out incorrectly and the landlords being unable to change it, Maldon St. Marys will this season now be playing at the Plume School, Fambridge Road, Maldon. This is a 3G artificial surface.
Full details are on the Maldon St. Marys club directory page of this site.

Match Based Suspensions
For the benefit of clubs whose representatives may have dozed off when this was announced at the A.G.M., below is clarification of Match Based Suspensions being implemented on our league this season
During the 2010/11 season, ALL divisions on our league (both senior and reserve sections) will be dealt with on a match-based disciplinary basis.
As a result, if a player is sent off during a senior section match, his punishment will be dependent on him serving a period until the requisite number of senior section matches involving his team have been missed. These will include matches in the Senior Division League Cup, the Denny King Memorial Cup and the Essex Premier Cup only. Matches in any other competition will not count.
If a player is sent off during a reserve section match, his punishment will be dependent on him serving a period until the requisite number of reserve section matches involving his team have been missed. These will include matches in the Reserve Division League Cup and the Essex Junior Cup. Matches in any other competition will not count.
This period will begin for standard punishments 21 days after the date of the offence.
During this period, the participant cannot play in either the first or reserve team, OR for any other teams or clubs.
This has been implemented for the Essex Olympian League, the Essex & Suffolk Border League and Ridgeons Reserve League; all Leagues outside of this will continue with period-based discipline.
If you have any further specific queries, please contact either your clubs League Registration Secretary or Robert Craven at the E.C.F.A.

E-Mail Problems
Some people have been experiencing intermittent problems receiving e-mails from eofl.co.uk
e-mail addresses or e-mails forwarded from eofl.co.uk e-mail addresses.
This has been a particular problem with people with BT or Yahoo e-mail addresses.
It is therefore necessary for everyone to ensure that their e-mail "white list" contains the eofl.co.uk domain name.
Details of how those with BT and Yahoo addresses can do this have been uploaded to the site and can be accessed via the link below.
Those of you with other e-mail addresses will have to contact your ISP or look on your mail page to find out how to do this.
It is most important that everyone associated with the league has an active and working e-mail address if the league is to work efficiently.
How to add eofl domain name to your BT/Yahoo white list
