As you will be aware Peter Godfrey has taken over the job of Fixtures Secretary due to the continuing problems Phil Coulthard is having with his eyes.

There will be some changes to the fixtures in the March Newsletter to accommodate cup matches as earlier rounds are completed or matches are postponed. As all clubs have been advised, changes for the following week will be sent out on a Sunday. It is most important that you acknowledge their receipt.

Fixtures under the banner Provisional Fixtures on the web site are just that, provisional, and fixtures do not become fixed until they are moved out of this area of the page.

From 20 March some clubs will be given both Senior and Reserve matches on a Saturday. These will be announced when amendments to the fixtures are made. Where this occurs the Senior Division match will kick off at 13:30 with the Reserve match kicking off at 16:00. If you feel that your facilities cannot cope with this you must let Peter know by 05 March.

Mid-week fixtures will be arranged from 30 March and these will included in the April Newsletter.

Currently some teams will be playing until the end of May and there may be long gaps between fixtures for away teams due to the backlog.

If you have any additional open dates available or additional pitches at any time from the end of February please let Peter know by 05 March. Some clubs may have already given Phil this information but could you please re-send it to me as it may not have been passed on.

It should be noted that if there are insufficient dates available for your home fixtures, teams may have to play these on the opponents grounds. If we all work together we should reach a satisfactory conclusion to the season, although not everyone will be happy as is the case every season.

Unless clubs stated on the forms given to Phil at the beginning of the season that they did not want fixtures on Good Friday and Easter Monday, fixtures will be arranged on these dates although individual Senior and Reserve teams will play a maximum of two games over this long week-end. Fixtures will also be arranged for May Bank Holiday Monday unless this form stated otherwise.
