Salzburg - Stadium Salzburg Wals-Siezenheim
The new stadium, which is due to be completed in spring 2003, is situated in the district of Wals-Siezenheim on the outskirts of Salzburg. The stadium will have an all seater capacity of 32,700. The stadium site, which covers an area of 15 hectares, is situated right next to Salzburg airport. The stadium has a direct link to the motorway and is having its own station on the Salzburg-Munich railway line constructed. The stadium site will also have a variety of leisure facilities such as fitness trails, recreation zones, playgrounds, restaurants.
