Innsbruck - Tivoli NEU
In the heart of the Tirol mountains lies the "Tivoli NEU" stadium. The then reigning Austrian champions, FC Tirol Innsbruck, together with their fans, opened the stadium during the summer of 2000. The stadium is situated in the southern part of the town between the Olympic ice stadium and the motorway and can also be used for concerts and large events. It is also only a few kilometres from Innsbruck airport and can be reached using public transport. The stadium, currently comprises of 15,200 covered seats, but by 2004 will have been extended to house 30,000 fans.
